HOW I WORK
I’m a copywriter who began life at art college. I’m lucky enough to be able to write, think visually, and bring my ideas to life with a bit of an art director’s eye. I create concepts at speed (great for helping kickstart a pitch). If an idea’s wrong, I move on. If it feels right, I move on and think of more ideas. Then I come back and craft. If you need help to take an idea forward, I can stay involved until it’s in print, on air, or online.
ONE VOICE. MANY CHANNELS
I love the process of coming up with ideas. But I also love to craft copy. Headlines, body copy, scripts, emails, internal newsletters, sales aids, brand guidelines, digital banners, websites and social posts—I’ve written them all, with a keen eye and sound ear to ensure all assets align to a brand’s tone of voice.
FOR AGENCIES IN NEED OF CREATIVE
I’ve worked in lots of agencies, big and small, both as perm and freelance. I can take a brief and deliver what’s needed, flying solo or teaming up with an existing art director. I love pitches, but I’m equally at home crafting short and long form copy for anything from cars to condoms, and from FMCG to COPD. I’m happy to take on a whole campaign from start to finish or I can just jump in when needed.
FOR CLIENTS WHO DESERVE MORE
When an agency delivers great work, everyone’s happy. But when the work is below par, clients can feel short changed. That’s where I can offer you another solution. Fresh eyes to bring you a different perspective. I’ll listen when your agency won’t. I’ll never try to convince you an idea is right, when we both know it’s wrong. I won’t keep you waiting a week for work that can be done in three days. If you have an idea, I’ll help you bring it to life. And best of all, I won’t charge you big agency fees for big agency ideas.
